Greenhithe Professionals
As usual we are once again holding our Annual Trick and Treat evening at our office, 9 Greenhithe Rd, Greenhithe this Friday 31st October from 5.00 - 7.30pm There will be a sausage sizzle, $1.50 each and proceeds going to Child Cancer. We have a room set aside for the children to enter and have some fun, with bags of treats. We expect huge numbers, its very colourful with lots of children attending, all dressed up of course.
Green Bean
Pizza and Pasta night at the Green Bean Friday the 31st October. The Haunted Green Bean will be open for Halloween. Come and enjoy some great food and our special childrens menu. Their will be lots of trick and treats. Please phone if you wish to book a table on 4139322.
Westfield Albany Fireworks
It's our first birthday on 1st November and to celebrate we are kicking off with a Fireworks Extravaganza on Friday night 31st October.
From 4.00pm there will be entertainment in The Plaza. Shrek will be here with his famous Christmas Show as will Scooby Doo.
There will be shows on the hour with the characters roaming amongst the crowds between times so you can get your photo taken with them.
Bugs Bunny will also be here in his top hat and tails to help light our giant Christmas tree at around 8.45pm followed by a spectacular Fireworks Show over the Albany lakes.
Kumeu Fireworks
Taupaki School is holding a "Monster Fireworks Display" on Friday at the Kumeu Showgrounds. Entertainment starts at 5 with the fireworks scheduled for 8.30. Ticket prices are $6 for children, $12 adults or $30 for a carload (2 adults, 2 children)

An increasing part of Halloween in NZ is ‘Trick or Treat’. We encourage families to put safe boundaries around this by making sure children only go to the homes of people they know and only under adult supervision. Please also take the opportunity to reinforce the use of appropriate manners, especially “please” and “thank you”.
