Andrew WILLIAMS

Mayor of North Shore, standing for Mayor of Auckland and also Councillor for the Albany Ward. An experienced elected representative who delivers, has a "Can Do' attitude, and keeps his promises to the people.

Mayor of North Shore 2007 -2010,  Community Board Member 2004 -2007, City Councillor 2001 -2004

Hearings Commissioner 2001 - 2010, Patron of many community and sporting organisations,

Originally from Waipukurau in Central Hawke's Bay, 51 year old Andrew moved to the North Shore in 1976, finishing his education at Rangitoto College. He has lived in Campbells Bay for the past 23 years with Mayoress Jane and their three children Sam 24, Nicky 21, and Bryony 17.

Mayor Williams’ interests include walking, swimming, golf, boating, gardening and watching sports such as rugby, cricket, basketball and netball. Having travelled extensively during his years in business, he enjoys sampling other people's cultures, foods, music, sports and lifestyles.
