Chris KEMP

Shore Voice - Your Voice North of the Bridge

Born and bred on the North Shore, Chris is a father of three and a resident of Greenhithe for the last 8 years.

With a background in marketing, tourism, hospitality, and events, he mixes his vocation as a commercial manager with active involvement in the local community.

He is coach and past committee member of the Greenhithe Junior Soccer Club and more recently, a founding trustee and Chairman of the Greenhithe Community Trust, formed to facilitate a healthy, vibrant and caring community.

He enjoys bringing communities together and is active in organising and supporting local family events.

Serving as the community's voice on the Local Board will be a privilege.

He will listen to the communities across the Upper Harbour Ward to give them the attention they deserve, and make sure their voice is not lost in the new Supercity, to preserve the unique lifestyles they enjoy.

Chris is Chairman of the Greenhithe Community Trust and has organised family football events.

I fully support the development of a Village Plan for Greenhithe.

As a resident for the last 8-years I know this as a unique place to live. I want to protect what the community values (parks, trees, open spaces), improve transport options and help deliver continual improvements that the community needs and wants to maintain Greenhithes' uniqueness.

I will use my commercial experience in tourism, events and marketing to actively participate in developing the Village Plan.

  1. Listen to our communities.
  2. Ensure that the rates generated from the community are spent wisely and appropriately for that community.
  3. Completion of the planned projects.
