For the past 15 years this has been a major fundraiser for the Greenhithe Kindergarten. It has gone from strength to strength and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever!

The money raised ensures the Kindergartens upkeep, helps purchase new equipment for the children and enables the teaching staff to have access to the latest educational tools.

There is an amazing following each year, including visitors from as far as Wellington and Whangarei.

View a wonderful selection of local gardens with craft stalls where you could purchase artwork, plants, shrubs, jewellery, raffles and stop to have a bite to eat.

So bring the family, friends and join in what promises to be a fun day!

When

Sunday 15^th November 2009 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

The Garden Tour will go ahead rain or shine!

Where

The gardens are all within the Greenhithe area. A number of the gardens are close to each other or linked by paths so you can combine car travel with walking.

The Greenhithe Kindergarten will be the base of operations where tickets and information will be available on the day. You can also view the raffle prizes there and grab a bite to eat & refreshments.

Price: $15 pre-sales or $20 on day from Kindergarten

Tickets will be sold from several outlets around the Auckland area.

Gardens

You will be able to view a mixture of new gardens and old favourites, all within 2km, from large cottage gardens to gardens designed for the smaller site so there should be something to please all tastes!

Refreshments

An awesome selection of food and drink will be available to purchase at the Kindergarten.

 Toilet facilities will also be made available as indicated

Stalls

We have a great range of stalls at a number of the gardens. It is never too early to get your Christmas presents ready.
