Cameras are a MUST DO in my view, problems aren't about to dissapear from our community if we take a passive attitite,deterants ARE needed. I live in Pounamu Avenue and am SO sick to see the lack of appreciation for our local environment i.e. graffiti, letter box and bus shelter smashing etc.

I think the cameras are a great idea and would be happy to donate to the cause. Some may think this is Big Brother watching but as a resident of Greenhithe I think it makes sense. We want to keep this community safe and free as much as possible from crime - any detereent must be progress towards this goal.

My letter box in Tauhinu Road recently got pushed over. Has this been happening elsewhere in Greenhithe that you are aware? I have only recently moved to Greenhithe so just want to know what to expect as far as vandelism is concerned

Just wondering if any other residents have reported having fruit trees stripped. 3 years in a row we have had our plum tree completely stripped of fruit even the fallen fruit. Not a major crime I know but invasion of privacy knowing someone is watching for when the fruit is perfect for picking and entering the property to steal. Maybe if other people have reported we could find out if there was a pattern.
We are in Isobel Road 51A ph 4139703 if you hear anything
