We have had a few incidents in Greenhithe of late. There have been around 3 burglaries on Greenhithe Rd and Upper Harbour Drive on and around the 4th March (Thursday). These were day burglaries. A silver/grey car with 2 males in it has been spotted on several occasions around this date. This spotting varied from sitting outside the school in a car to reports of guys knocking on doors pretending to be "plumbers". Anyone with more info on descriptions of these males or more details on the car is invited to send this info to me. Several people have noticed this car, thought it was "strange" and suspicious yet did not write down the numberplate which could have been a very good lead. Once more, if you feel it is suspicious, it probably is!! All you have to do with the info is email the rego's or descriptions to me and if anything happens, at least I have the information to forward to our intel department.

There have been a lot of mailbox damages and bus stop smashings as well over the last few months. The good news is that several people have been arrested for these offences so please keep up the reporting as reparation will be sought when offenders are arrested.

Tagging is increasing again in Greenhithe, too, especially around the Ponyclub. Please keep an eye out for suspicious behaviour and don't hesitate phoning in to the non emergency nr 477 5000 or 111 if it is occurring and you are watching it.

There is some interest in putting in 2 camera's in Greenhithe, on Greenhithe Road and Tauhinu Rd and I would like to hear your ideas on this. These camera's would not be pointing at anyone's house of course.
