Over the 3 weeks we have had 8 reported burglaries in Greenhithe which is a huge amount really!!
Upper Harbour Drive appears to be hardest hit... 3 on 1 day and 2 burglaries on another... The main items targeted were laptops and jewellery. Two other burglaries were committed out on the boat moorings outside of Rahui Rd and Marae Rd.
These burglaries were committed anytime after 27/08/09.. Depth sounders, nav lights, tools, fishing rods, life jackets are missing.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious please let me know. Please keep an eye out if you overlook the moorings?

Anyone who has any info on the destruction of several street signs on Greenhithe Rd please get it to me (anonymous is fine).
The damage done amounted to almost $4000.00!!!! That is going beyond a joke.

Tips of the month:
1. Do not hide your jewellery in your bedroom drawers!!!! This is where thieves go first...
2. Check your outside lights. Are the bulbs still working? And are they screwed in sufficiently?
