Greenhithe's Liam Stone was again selected in the New Zealand Diving squad after the National Champs just completed.
He leaves for a major competition in Canada on 29th November, followed immediately by a trip to Wellington to compete in the inaugural Pacific Rim competition. This is all build up to a possible crack at qualifying for World Junior Champs in USA next year.

He is on a fundraising drive that ultimately will not cost you anything.
Diving New Zealand has put together a top quality 2010 calendar featuring New Zealand divers to sell as a fundraiser. Each calendar includes around $1,000 worth of coupons from various retailers/restaurants etc. The cost of each one is just $20 so is very easy to get more than your money back over the year. Liam appears on two of the months.

Pinakin has arranged for Liam to be at the Dairy tomorrow morning (14th November) between 9:30 and 10:30 with the calendars for sale. They are also available over the counter and also at The Malthouse. If you are passing by, have a look and see if you are interested. It is a great fundraiser for one of our own.
