Hi! I also live in Greenhithe - but in the UK. I was hunting for a local site and managed to read about 3 or 4 threads before I twigged you're not from round these parts! Funnily enough all your thread-headings and threads sounded perfectly feasible for my Greenhithe too. We are SE of London, right on the River Thames.

Don't worry, we've some quite indignant posts here before leaving us wondering "where's that?" then figuring it was Greenhithe Kent. We're the real Greenhithe. It's actually green here.
