Hmmmm.... "300" is a movie about a Spartan army. It's pretty out there and in the style of the film Sin City (Bruce Willis). The colouring has a sepia tint and there is tons of fighting and slo-mo battle scenes. Definitely one for those who like full-on war scenes but lacked a sense of history / storyline for my taste. Still dying to see "Blood Diamond" which i heard was a great one and the rental comes out this month.

Just LOVED Snow Cake - fantastic script, acting etc.... Was at Rialto in Newmarket - also loved the theatre, the seats are like arm chairs, well worth the drive!

Ah yes the comfort of Rialto is definitely worth the drive! I will check out Snow Cake; sounds good. I hired Blood Diamond on DVD recently and it rocked - it's about the illegal diamond exports from Africa; and was a really interesting look at the hardship (to put it lightly) that people go through for the net result of a sparkly stone being displayed in a wealthy country. Not that i have anything against sparklies. Fantastic acting by Leo Di Caprio who did a killer Saffa accent : )

prirates is rubbish to long (3hrs) (3hrs of crap) 2/10.
bean was better than i thought it would be 4/10.
28 weeks later is good 6/10.
spider man 3 not that great 5/10.
taxi driver great movie. 10/10
300 good movie worth watching 7/10.
reno 911 mami: only good if u watched the series. has a few good jokes in it but lacks substance 4/10.

circle lounge in boutny downs is the best arm chairs with buttons, ordering meal during the movie and a massive screen hence the name sumo screen but at $30 a ticket inculding free drinks and popcorn only worth going if you know the mvoie is going to be good.
