Greenhithe War Memorial Park - Roland Rd (Soccer Fields)

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the absolute mess left in the park after soccer games on Saturday & Sunday. It's generally not the kids, most of the time, but the adults who dispose of their empty drink containers, on the ground instead of the bins, electrical tape (used to hold their socks up), and all sorts of other rubbish. Perhaps the council should threaten to levy the soccer clubs in an attempt to get them to take some responsibility and clean up after themselves....I think I'll drop a letter to the council and make the suggestion

Totally agree and yes drop of the letter, maybe a bond is handed back to the visiting clubs when the park is void of rubbish, the most absurd thing is that it is not the Greenhithe Club but soccer clubs from out of the area!

More/bigger bins are definitely needed there - the ones at the clubhouse are too small and often overflow....

Instead of more/bigger rubbish bins that us ratepayers have to pay to be cleaned regularly, why don't these cretins just take their bloody rubbish home with them!!
