Anyone recognise the historic aircraft that passed over Greenhithe this morning and later performed an aerobatic display from Whenuapai airfield?

Spitfire PV270 (see link above) was here for 485 Squadron reunion. She is based in Ohakea and was first flown in 2009 after a complete rebuild.
Also there was Doug Brooker's Spitfire and a P51D Mustang. http://www.spitfirepv270.co.nz/485a.jpg

Yep. New what they were and why they were here. Just wondered if anyone else knew of them. Got some great photos from the handling display in the afternoon. The history and rebuilding of PV270 is published in "SPITFIRE Back to Flight" by the owner, Brendon Deere. It is available from Technical Books.
