Collins House

My wife and I have been eating very regularily at Collins House, its walkable from our house, its BYOW and the food was great.  That is until we ate there last night!


There are new owners, it is no longer Collins House, it has been renamed "East  India Trading House".  The menu is now Indian/Middle Eastern.  I like this kind of spicy food, but our meal last night was quite simply shocking and we will not be going back for a while.


I had the "all you can eat" $30 set menu, it is still BYOW so on the face of it this is good value.  The food was not hot, it had been sitting around for a while.  The standard of the food was well below average.


There was no kids menu available.


Bring back Collins House, the family restaurant and the good old Kiwi menu.

Whats a 'Kiwi menu'? lol.. I absolutely LOVE Indian food so must try it out..

How about we support these new folk and encourage them rather than post bad reviews after just a day or two of trading.
