Posted by GRRCHA at May 16. 2007

The Greenhithe Residents Ratepayers and Community Hall Association (GRRCHA) has reviewed North Shore City Council's draft plans for Greenhithe roading and prepared a submission. This needs to be in by mid June and we need your input and comments. You are welcome of course to discuss it in this forum, but can you please send your feedback to feedback@greenhithe.org.nz

The submission can be found here.

The Council's plans are available to view at Juliettes.

What do you think? Should Kyle Rd be opened ... ever?

"Kyle Road only to be opened (IF AT ALL) when the necessary ‘traffic calming’ steps on Greenhithe and Tauhinu Roads have been completed."

Yes kyle rd should be opened why shouldnt it people have the right to choose which way they go, not my problem the school doesnt want it what about poor greenhithe school it has to put up with more cars than up their, dont think there has been any accidents, and it will give the kids a chance to be road safe.

This is saying Admirals Court, Te Wharau, Greenbough are not apart of Greenhithe..?

No-one said that.

and that they me excluded from the Greenhithe Village label..?

But that would be true. The people outside the entrance to Oakford Park are not in Oakford Park, but they are still in Greenhithe. Similarly Wainoni, Admirals Crt etc each have their own distinctive flavour with entrances, special street lights, planting style etc.

If you feel you have better or more appropriate suggestions than in the Submission, please email feedback@greenhithe.org.nz
