How to reply to posts - the readable way
Up to Greenhithe Community Forum
If you want to reply to a post you will get the previous content in the reply. You'll notice that it is easy to hash this up with bizarre formatting etc unless you are reasonably proficient with html. So here is the drill:
- Put your words first. Before the 'Previously Dr Ropata wrote...'. That way it will get formatted normally.
- Delete everything except the bits you are actually responding to. No one wants to read through the stuff other than what is relevant.
This will keep the posts nice and compact and relevant. Better for everyone.

Re: How to reply to posts - the readable way
Just a quick question; when i reply to a post it seems to come out in dark grey font instead of black - is that because i have put the response after the bit i am responding to? thanks

Yes. If you are Anonymous you will the the raw HTML. The "blockquote" entries start and stop the grey. If you are logged in it is best to start your reply before the quoted text.
