New Shops? What's filling the vacant lot next to the dairy?

Does anyone know what is is happening with the lot next to the dairy? I heard new shops and maybe the dairy might even move into there. Although this could just be a rumor. What do you this should go into the space?

im sure if u ask them at the dairy they will tell you if it a rumour or not.

It's planned to be a retail centre, being developed by Argyle (who did the one opposite the Gull petrol station). We (ratepayers committee) have seen preliminary sketches and would post them here if we were allowed to (have asked). At one stage the Patels were going to do a joint development with Argyle but our understanding is that they are planning their own thing on their site. So maybe they'd need to rent some space next door while they develop.
