Halloween 2009

Posted by Anonymous at October 15. 2009
Hey everyone.

First time here... Just wondering what your thoughts on Halloween are in Greenhithe? My family and I don't really 'celebrate' it, being religious and all, but this year we thought we'd make it an excuse to have fun and loosen up a bit, particularly for me who has exams and that.

Do any of you 'celebrate' it at all? I've not really known much about Halloween and it's prominence in Greenhithe but I have seen a few trick-or-treaters in the past.

Would be good to know how popular it is...

Not popular at all. Don't worry yourself over it. Being religous and all.

Be Christmas soo, then we can really spend some serious money. Being religous and all!

There is a Halloween 'carnival' being organised by a group of residents. I think this is preferable to kids wandering around begging door-to-door. The rest is good harmless fun.

Halloween is awesome in Greenhithe - not sure what it will be like this year though, with professionals gone.. Most of the local business' get involved, and give out lollies, and heaps of people partake...
