Hey,
Not sure how many of you this affects, but I'm now having to get the bus home from the CBD at about 11pm, well the nearest I can get is to Hobsonville on the 090 bus which leaves me with a 5km walk in the wind and rain.
I'm looking at writing to Ritchies and/or Stagecoach and seeing if any buses could be ran into Greenhithe late, but specifically the 090 as an 'If Required' service to the Greenhithe shops.
Anyone else that would like to see a bus coming through Greenhithe later than 7pm please post in here and I'll bring it to the attention of the bus companies.

I'm also strongly in favour of a late night service to Greenhithe, but there are other options that might be better:
1. Have the 956 running once or twice in the evening (say 9.40pm and 11.40pm) from the Constellation Station. The last Northern Express bus along the busway reaches Constellation at 11.33 and it would be nice if this bus were to continue out to Greenhithe.
2. Have a similar late service on the 133 from Takapuna via Glenfield. The last bus leaves town at 11.46 and arrives in Takapuna just after midnight (later than the Northern Express)
The bus to Hobsonville is five stages and takes a whole hour, and would be six if it went over the Upper Harbour bridge. This looks longer and more expensive than either of the above options.

yeah, late night busses to bring in skaters.. our it could take them home again

I completely agree!
The entire bus service through Greenhithe is terrible and needs to be reviewed.

thats true, I work for a radio station on thursday nights in the city and sometimes the bus driver decides to not turn up.. though it has been better in the past few weeks.
I'm all for the late night bus both to and from the CBD, I usually just sleep on other peoples couches on Thursday nights because there's no way to get back to Greenhithe, it would be nice to be able to come home after doing my show! haha.
