Combined Greenhithe Garage Sale??

Was thinking of having one, and maybe coinciding it with the Greenhithe Garden Tour day (14th of Nov I believe) and thought it might be a good idea for lots of other Greenhithians to get involved. Herald Isl had a huge garage sale last year, that worked really well. Maybe it could become a community event?? Might be too soon to organise it now, but maybe even stalls/carboot at the hall or school or something would be good.
The Lions Club used to do something in the Village Hall each year. Equally some have organised car boots at the school. Garage sales typically have a large 'early bird' component that is obviously at a different time to the garden tour. It's a good thought though, just needs someone to organise it. Lions, Greenhithe Community Trust or Tauhinu Scouts being possible arrangers as long as there is money in it for them.
