Hey, what happens in Greenhithe? Is it relatively easy to get around without a car?
How is the public transport? It looks pretty central on the map but I am hoping to get some insight from Greenhithe residents.

Not really. It's more of a family place, and you'd practically need a car. It's not close to anything.

Agree with # 2 - mostly families in Greenhithe and not much happens (for young people) and whist you can get around Greenhithe easy with no car, you really would need a car, cause the public transport is crap (especially compared with Wellington).. Rent/house prices are pretty steep too (not sure if you've already looked into that).. It is a beautiful place, but if you are after fun/night life etc, then it isn't the place.. If you are wanting to live around the area, you might be better to look at Albany or Glenfield or around the Bays (Mairangi Bay/Browns Bay for instance)
