Pro's of a skatepark
Up to Greenhithe Skatepark

You Would keep kids off the streets from vandalism, and they will start up a new sport and it will become more popular. Before you know it they will be sponsored by a local skateshop or something.

yes it would keep kids of the street 4 sure ! i am a skater that lives in greenhithe and has to travel to marlborough glenfield every day that i want to skate, it would b great to have a skatepark in grenhithe 4 easy access

With a huge number of young families in the Hithe this is a great idea - something for growing kids to play on / meet up with friends, instead of being bored at home! We need to promote activities that keep kids active!

I never had a skate ramp built in our area of town and well did I hoon, tag, take drugs, become a looser..? NO.. It is not the communities problem to look after kids "It is the parents.. PULL UP YOUR SOCKS and help your KIDS GROW UP PROPERLY.."
If they got a part time job they could go to the movies, the beach. They don't need to be out at night after 9:00pm anyway...
