Alternate ideas to a skatepark

The skatepark idea is a response to a need in the community for something for teens to do, but what other alternative ideas are out there?

Learn the values of keeping a nice neighbour hood. Helping there parents and learning core values would be a good start.

In stead of kicking that old lady, help that old lady.. Talk to her and you might learn something.. The youths of today have NO RESPECT for anyone apart from themselves. So, why do they deserve a Skate Board Ramp..?

If you could put your hand on your heart and say... If we build they will come and stop all other problamatic activities then fine build this pile of doom, but I bet no one can.

Also, if it gets built and someone is seriously hurt who will be to blame..? these things are dangerous..!!!

What about a mountain bike track. Just something with a few jumps and hills etc, doesn't need to be too large. This sort of activity tends not to promote people just hanging around and watching and the kids love it.
