While the editorial team reserve the right to edit or remove any posts, here are some guidelines for fair play.

- Sign Posts - Use your real name or pseudonym, but certainly not someone else's name. If you are logged in this is automatic
- Limits on Posting - There are no limits defined, but keep it reasonable. It is better to post a longer, reasoned item than lots of one-liners. Remember, other people need to wade through the slough to get to the good stuff! Let's try and keep it to good stuff.
- Maintain a Sense of Humour. You know what I mean. Some posts are in jest, or designed to provoke a response to get a discussion going.
- Keep Topics within Discussion Purpose - Local issues on a local forum for example. Serious posts on a serious topic. See also the 2nd point above.
- Be Civil - This is a public forum with real people. Respect among residents with differing views is the purpose of forums.
- No Attacks or Threats - This keeps the forums safe. If content is illegal it will be forwarded to the proper legal authorities.
- Avoid False Rumours - Do unto others etc. You alone are responsible for what you post.
- Avoid naming others - You may refer to another post, but do not name people in these forums.
- Items Not Allowed in Forums - See acceptable use policy. Please don't upload anything bigger than 250kB. No swearing, vulgarity. Remember, these forums are open to all including kids.
- Appeal - If you think you are being harmed in some way by a post, contact the Site Admin to remove it. The policy will be to err on the side of caution to protect our residents.
