The Greenhithe Residents Association owns both the Greenhithe Community Hall and the Old School Building. Greenhithe is both unique and fortunate to own two buildings that can be booked and used by members of the community. The Old School Building is a heritage building and forms part of our wonderful history. The Community Hall is a more modern building, much larger than the OSB and offering more flexible room options.
The Booking Process
Our booking procedure is now completely online, but nevertheless very simple. To book one of the buildings, simply choose which building and room you require from the drop down box titled ‘select an entity’. Next click on the ‘Date’ box to reveal a calendar. Now click on the date you are interested in booking. Next click on the ‘Select a Schedule” green button. You will now be offered a number of options and times. Choose one by ticking the corresponding box(es) and then pay for the booking(s) by direct credit to our Bank Account. Once you have paid, please click on the Terms and Conditions and then read them to ensure you understand fully your undertaking.
Please note that you must be over 21 to book any of our rooms and buildings and that under no circumstances do we allow teenage or 21st birthday parties. Anyone holding such an event will immediately forfeit their bond.
The Greenhithe Community Hall
The Community Hall is the largest and most used of our community spaces and is situated in the heart of Greenhithe, on Greenhithe Road, opposite all the shops. It features a large room with a polished wooden floor and stage, a separate meeting room, an office, a reception area and a fully equipped kitchen. It’s perfect for events and gatherings of up to 120 people.
The Old School Building
The smaller of our community spaces, the Old School Building is perfect for smaller gatherings. Located in Collins Park, it’s just round the corner from the Community Hall and beside the children’s playground and skate park. The Old School Building is perfect for events and gathering of less than 50 people.
